Dr. med. Philipp Hettinger studied medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Carl Gustav Carus University of Dresden.
His subsequent professional positions included the Cusanus Hospital Bernkastel-Kues (psychiatry) and the Burg Landshut Clinic Bernkastel-Kues (neurology), during which time he obtained his specialist certification in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Since 2023, he has worked in a specialist practice in Trier and has been running this practice independently since this year.

Dr. Harald Hettinger studied psychology at the University of Trier and obtained his license as a psychological psychotherapist.
He then studied medicine at the University of Mainz, obtaining his medical license and a doctorate in psychosomatic medicine. His subsequent professional positions included the Brüderkrankenhaus Trier (neurology), the Landeskrankenhaus Merzig (psychiatry), and the Rehazentrum Bernkastel-Kues (psychosomatics, psychotherapy, psychiatry).
During this time, he obtained specialist qualifications as a physician in neurology, psychiatry, psychotherapeutic medicine, and psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.
In addition, Dr. Hettinger has many years of experience in the training of psychotherapists and the further education of physicians, including as a lecturer, supervisor and examiner for the State Chamber of Psychotherapists and the Trier District Medical Association, as well as an expert witness for social courts, state social courts, accident insurance funds, private insurance companies and pension insurance institutions.
